As
I am asked to speak, a few words for my sister,
Am
wondering how to bring all these 40 years together!
So,
thought and decided to talk of the time-
A
period in my life, when she was exclusively mine!
She
came in my life, not when she was born,
but
after staying, initial few years, with our grandmom!
At
first I was struck, to hear her call my mom as mummy,
But
eventually, it sank in as she became the best company!
While
our siblings went to others, we were in the same school,
Those
KV memories, treasured in our hearts, are simply wonderful!
Sharing icecreams in the Army truck, money calculations in Tempu,
Joining
at lunchtime after finishing her own food!
Unforgettable
is her big smile on the chubby face,
Looking
back, anytime anywhere in the school if I trace!
She
was my pride, support, and confidence,
The
bold one, who will standby in any consequence!
Then
it all ended one day, no one to blame,
As
the twins became ‘partners’ in a carom game!
The game ended, but not their partnership.
And
I sadly felt, here comes my lonely hardship!
Being
with her, she did not need anyone or anything,
But
in showering her love & affection, she was still the king!
Her
support was multifold, and care was bountiful,
Inseparable
even in my dreams, with her she was beautiful!
Therefore,
my heartfelt wishes are not for one, but both of them,
Enjoy
the moment, as in the forties, the fun of life has again begun!
